With an average of 9.6 meters of fresh snow per year, we have been allowed to call ourselves since 2007 "The Snowiest Village in the World".

The unique location of the Hertehof allows you to put on and take off your skis directly in front of the door. Just put on your skis and lets go!

Damüls counts to one of the largest ski areas in Vorarlberg with over 109 kilometers of slopes and 28 comfortable lifts.

Ski tours / Freeride

The Ski School Damüls also has to offer a lot off the slope- they have weekly different courses in ski touring and freeriding. Fun and safety are guaranteed.

Tobogganing

Experience Damüls on two runners. On the daily freshly prepared 2.5 km long natural toboggan track fun for young and old is pre-programmed. The toboggan can be rented in one of the sports stores and is easily to transport in the cable car. Every Wednesday and Friday night tobogganing with floodlight is announced.

Snowshoe hiking

In Damüls, guided tours into the "deep forest" are offered weekly. These tours are professionally guided by our hiking partner BERGaktiv. Snowshoes can be rented in the sports stores. Of course you are also welcome to explore our wonderful winter landscape on your own.

Winter hiking

Let the snow crunch under your feet. Damüls offers you 20 km of winter hiking trails. Explore the snowy landscape on foot on those various trails and let nature speak for itself. Once a week the mountain rescue group of Damüls offers a guided storm lantern hike followed by drinking mulled wine.

Cross-country skiing

Pure cross-country skiing pleasure for sunbathers. Our two cross-country trails cover 11 kilometers, are daily freshly prepared and located at snow-assured 1500 and 1700 meters above sea level. On the perhaps highest located 5 km long cross-country ski run "Stofel", even skaters can enjoy themselves.

Snowboard / Snowpark

As the largest snowpark in the Bregenzerwald, the MAIN-Park, the Uga-Park, the popular All-Mountain Line, the Kids-Park and as well the Ragaz Pro-Line offers every freestyler a huge playground to let off steam. In the Chillout Area you can relax in the deck chairs to the best music and regain your strength for the next ride. Furthermore, Thomas Alton and his crew organize numerous events and contests throughout the winter which are well known beyond the borders of the country.

Farmer's Market

Every Friday the farmers market takes place in Damüls where you have the possibility to take a piece of Bregenzerwald home with you. There is something for everyone. Our farmers from the region offer a wide range of bacon, cheese or schnaps and way more.

Musical entertainment as well as physical well-being is provided with live music, raclette and Glühmost.

In addition, there is the possibility to enjoy the wonderful winter landscape during a horse-drawn sleigh ride.

FIS Ski Museum

Every Tuesday and Friday the FIS Ski Museum opens its doors.

The exhibition covers 130 years of Vorarlberg ski history as well as the history of ski racing in Vorarlberg. It is worth a visit.
